As a token of appreciation to the best community out there (Step -1 on Reddit), I wanted to give a small payback.
This write-up will contain the following:
I will be writing in full length, and I will be describing the best resources for each subject and amazing tricks I learned through my studies, some of them known and so many good ones I came up with.
So I’m Non-US IMG and my preparation was really messy, the full duration was about 10 months, but to be honest, I had like 4-5 months with no study at all due to some college/health and other issues. If I had to guess, the pure study would be like 6 months.
I had almost zero background, so i had to go through all of it from 0.
So before getting into details, there will be a table about the best resources I used, and I would like to make this very clear, I didn’t do all of them for all subjects, I used a specific resource for a limited subject! Keep that in mind.
So this was the structure, I would recommend going like FA book sorting, but if you have college pressure then for sure you can do as I did (study subjects that are relevant to your college curriculum). One thing I would point out is that do immunology and pathology as early as possible, I made a horrible mistake by skipping them to the end, don’t do that as it will be fundamental to the rest of systems and make ur life easier!!!!
